Benefits for Commercial graduates
Salary & benefits
The size and scope of our business will have many benefits for you as a graduate – both financially and personally. You'll receive a salary of £22,000 - £25,000 when you begin, and a generous holiday entitlement of 25 days plus bank/public holidays. You’ll also get the following:
- the opportunity to join a final salary pension scheme
- the opportunity to join HSA, a healthcare cash plan
- access to our employee support programme
- a discretionary bonus plan
- discounts on all sorts of products and services.
Flexible working
All our employees can request a Work Life Solution, which can include part-time working, working a non-standard week, career breaks or working from home. Clearly, this won't affect you in particular as a graduate, as your learning and development will require you to be on-site on a full-time basis; however, this is a policy that can offer you real benefits in the future.
Other benefits
We also want to offer you something that goes beyond material reward. Because everyone has interests and pursuits outside of work, we give all our graduates the opportunity, encouragement and support to study towards further qualifications – usually related to the job you do here but not always (see 'Learning for All' below).
After all, in the future, new opportunities will open up, and new things will be asked of you. And the people who will be able to take advantage of these opportunities are those who have developed their talents beyond the job-specific.
Learning and Educational Assistance Programme (LEAP)
The LEAP programme is designed to help you build skills in a variety of areas. We can offer you financial assistance for a number of things: your registration, your tuition and examination fees, your membership of a professional body, the cost of a residential course, or the cost of your books. We might even give you time out to study at college if distance learning isn't available.
Learning for All
We also give everyone here £150 a year to learn some form of new skill in their spare time. You might take up painting. You might learn a new language. You could even try your hand at gourmet cooking. How you spend it is entirely up to you.
