The future
What challenges will we face?
The Energy branch will experience some of the most dramatic changes over the coming years. Climate change and global warming are big news, of course – so much of what we’ll focus on as a business in the future will revolve around finding new, more efficient and more environmentally friendly ways to generate the energy that our customers need.
At the same time, we have to ensure that, with all the investment we put into this area, we never lose sight of our customers. It’s essential that we make sure that everyone has access to electricity and heating, so, as we trade in the markets, this will be a strong concern for us.
Where will you take your career?
At the end of the two-year scheme, you will have gained a broad range of experience that will stand you in good stead wherever you choose to take your career. Specifically, you could take up a full-time role in one of our business areas: Upstream, Downstream, Integrated Margin and Strategy & Investment.
